Community will be focus of inaugural fair at Ratton School

Ratton School will hold the inaugural Community Fair on Wednesday July 8.

A number of organisations from Eastbourne have been invited to take part in order that students can discover areas of need in the community and how groups are working to support this.

During the day, each year will have an opportunity to interact with groups as diverse as the Food Bank, Greenpeace and Eastbourne Borough Council Museums.

At the end of the school day, the event will be opened to parents and carers from 3.15 – 4.00pm.

Exhibitors will include Friends of the Earth, Edible Eastbourne, Eastbourne Community Energy, Matthew 25 Mission, Age Concern UK, St Wilfred’s Hospice, Rotary AM, ER Interactors, Greenpeace, GSA, MS Association, Old Town Library, Band of Brothers, Eastbourne Food Bank, Children with Cancer Fund, Eastbourne Borough Council Museums, Sasbah, Woodland Folk, Salvation Army, and Eastbourne RNLI.
