Christmas concert rehearsals begin

REHEARSALS start for the Christmas concert of Concentus Chorale on September 3.

New members are actively being encouraged to come along and see what is on offer in rehearsing for the forthcoming concerts, ‘A Celebration of Christmas’ which are being performed on December 15 and January 12.

The concert will include music such as Hear my Prayer and O for the Wings of a Dove, Agnus Die (Faure Requiem) The Lord’s Prayer (African Sanctus), Sing (Gary Barlow Jubilee song), Your Song (Elton John) and Mistletoe and Wine (Cliff Richard), whilst Jonah Man Jazz, Worthy is the Lamb (Messiah) and an unusual arrangement of Old Macdonald had a Farm.

The first rehearsal is at 7.30pm at the United Reformed Church Hall, Upperton Road.
