The Royal Hippodrome Friends are inviting the public to take a tour of the oldest theatre in town on Friday, August 30 (starting at 10am).
With the new team up and running and an excellent programme of attractions on the way the Friends are keen to get more people inside the Hippodrome.
Many Eastbournians have not set foot inside the theatre in Seaside Road - and the your gives them a great chance to look around.
The tour takes about 75 minutes and offers the chance to go on and back stage as well as learning some history of the place.
Visitors will also be able to view the dressing rooms and check out the dress circle where the ornate columns were refurbished in the 90s.
It’s then up to the grand circle where the lights and sound are operated.
