Popular East Sussex Arts trail is still blazing in its 22nd year

Now in its 22nd year, the popular arts trail Artwave continues to be one of the most vibrant festivals in the East Sussex calendar.

For two weeks from August 22 over 100 artists’ homes, gardens, galleries, studios and other great venues open doors to the public.

Entry is free and visitors are able to enjoy an eclectic mix of mediums including; paintings, jewellery, printmaking, sculpture, textiles, ceramics. It’s a great day out – view art, meet artists, watch demonstrations or take part in events, discover intriguing and unusual venues, and treat yourself to tea and cake. Now Paradise Park, Newhaven will act as a venue and is proud to host an exhibition of mosaics by a collection of local artists, headed by Aimee Harman, author of ’20 to make Mosaic Projects.’ These will be on display at the Avis Road garden centre: August 22,23,29,30 and September 5 and 6.
