This year the Eastbourne Film Society is again presenting a Spring Mini-Season at the Curzon Cinema consisting of four award-winning films.
The first of these screens next Wednesday, March 16, and it will be followed in April by the other three screenings all of which are open to the general public. Wednesday’s opening choice is the latest release here by the distinguished British director Terence Davies. Sunset Song is his adaptation of the classic Scottish novel by Lewis Grassic Gibbon set in the early years of the 20th century. Central to the film is a wonderful performance by Agyness Deyn.
