Flamenco show for children has message in today’s world

As part of Eastbourne Festival there will be a performance of The Fire Shoes on Tuesday July 21 at Leaf Hall Community Arts Centre on Seaside.

The show will start at 7pm with doors open from 6.30pm.

This is an entertaining children’s show but with a relevant and topical message to reach all ages.

The Fire Shoes is a presentation specifically for children to take part in and will be performed by the young students of Helena’s Flamenco School with some professional performers providing support.

This is a wonderful tale with a moral featuring two gypsy orphans and a magic pair of Flamenco shoes. It’s fun for all the family.

This storyline is very much of its time and deals with issues of bullying, integration of displaced peoples, refugees and other relevant and current themes particularly important for schools but portrayed in a light and charming way suitable for everyone to enjoy.

Tickets are £10 for adults and £9 for under-12s - to book call 07963 959262.
