Dementia Alliance regular film show

Wealden Dementia Action Alliance is working with Hailsham Pavilion Theatre to run Dementia Friendly film screenings of classic musicals from the 1930s to the present day.

The screenings will run once a month on Fridays for a year. Films confirmed so far are: Mamma Mia - July 22, Summer Holiday - August 19, Meet me in St Louis - September 23, 42nd Street - October 21, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes - November 18, White Christmas - December 16.

The screenings will start at 2pm, doors open at 1.30pm. Tickets £3, carers enter free of charge. As a special bonus, some screenings will also feature Suzy Harvey bringing the screen to life with audience participation. Suzy is a professional actor, with many years’ experience of working with people living with dementia and care providers. The first to have this will be Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
