The deadline for the annual East Sussex Open art exhibition is 4pm on Sunday, March 1.
Artists and makers from across the county could have their work chosen for the Towner event which runs July 20-September 20 and is expected to attract 30,000 visitors.
Between 30 and 40 are selected in a competitive, open process to have their work displayed in Towner’s impresive ground floor gallery spaces.
Joining Towner’s head of comptemporary programmes Sanna Moore on the 2015 judging panel is Jonathan Watkins, director of Ikon Gallery, Birmingham, and award-winning London-based video artist Saskia Olde Wolbers.
Sussex-based painter and printmaker Angela Smith was a participant in 2014 and recommends regional artists apply.
“I was attracted by the amazing space offered to exhibitors. I had been making multiple ink drawings and wanted to show them together in a space with a vast ceiling height and Towner was perfect.”
The East Sussex Open was established in 2009 when Towner’s new building opened. There is a non-refundable entry fee of £20 - for details visit www.townereastbourne.org.uk
