A solo exhibition by JFK Turner will be presented by Under Ground Art from July 31-August 29, 10-4pm, a show which promises to be a must-see for enthusiasts of abstract art.

Turner is concerned with the ephemera and detritus of everyday life: discarded packaging, obsolete technology, household and industrial waste. He looks for these stains and traces in his environment and uses them to inform his pieces, combining geometrical shapes with palettes of colour to create beautiful, abstract paintings and collages, before attacking the surfaces with sharp implements to provide a ‘weathered’ and beaten aesthetic. Raised in Manchester, Turner currently resides in Brighton, teaches in Eastbourne, and exhibita regularly across the South East.
