Talented young in rehearsal for Joseph
YEODS have assembled a wealth of young talent, aged between 7-17 - several of the younger not having appeared onstage before - for its next production.
The Society has chosen ‘Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat’ the musical masterpiece by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice and the enthusiastic cast have been working hard building their confidence over the past months under the direction of Jane Tingley, assisted by Wendy Dovey. It tells the story of Joseph, as told in the book of Genesis and includes well-known songs Close Every Door, Poor Poor Pharaoh, and the classic Any Dream Will Do. It will be staged at Eastbourne College Theatre from March 31 to April 2 with performances on Thursday and Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 1pm and 4pm.
