“Two stunning voices, two magnificent singer-pianists, two great friends whose rapport makes every concert that they play incredibly special, they bring personality, musical class and incorrigible wit to a repertoire that covers the jazz songbook and contemporary songs as well as their own originals.

“Best jazz vocalist at the BBC Jazz Awards 2007 and 2004, and nominated in the Best UK Vocalist category at the Jazz FM awards 2013, Ian Shaw has recorded a number of highly-acclaimed, internationally-released albums and is a popular performer both in the UK and the US.

“Multi-award-winning vocalist Liane Carroll has been a pillar of the British jazz and soul scene for over 35 years. Born in London and raised in Hastings, from the beginning of her musical career at the age of 15, she has dedicated her life to creating a deep and abiding connection with audiences all over the world through her exceptional talent, versatility and ability to truly interpret a song.

“You can expect to hear a wide range of jazz and contemporary music from both Ian and Liane and many of their own brilliantly written and creatively crafted songs and compositions.
