In the space of just a few years, this pairing has emerged to become one of the most sought after duos on the English folk and roots scene because they create music that has been described as a musical partnership made in heaven. Well-known as a central component of the popular Show of Hands set-up, Miranda has an exquisite and spine-tingling voice, whilst Rex, with his exuberant and flamboyant playing style, has built a reputation as one of the finest mandolin players in the UK.

They have released new album The Watchmaker’s Wife, the title track written by Miranda, Rex and Chris Difford, of Squeeze, who played to a capacity audience at the Old Chapel last summer. Tickets £16.50 from 01323 841414 and on the door.
