Live performance from iconic saxophonist Courtney Pine

The amazing Courtney Pine will join forces with Zoe Rahman when the pair perform at the Birley Centre on Sunday February 20 at 7.30pm.

The saxphonist has contributed enormously to a transformation in British jazz over the past 20 years and has been awarded an OBE and CBE for services to music. Courtney is a professor of Music at Westminster University and has a doctorate from Leeds College of Music.

His recordings and live work have won numerous awards including BBC Jazz Awards, MOBO and Mercury Music Prizes.

This is a rare opportunity to see a musical legend up close and for this special concert in the setting of Eastbourne’s Birley Centre, Courtney will be accompanied by fellow Mercury nominee and MOBO Award winning pianist, Zoe Rahman.
