The young performers have been rehearsing since last December and hope to follow up the successes of previous productions, Alice in Wonderland, Little Mermaid and Bugsy.

The group boast a membership roster of nearly 40 young people and from the ages of eight to 17.

They meet regularly from December on a Wednesday night and a Sunday afternoon until the week of the show and have all been working exceptionally hard to achieve the best production they can.

Peter Pan runs from March 17-19 at Herstmonceux Village Hall with nightly performances at 7.30pm and a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm
