Eastbourne Choral Society cancels Easter concert

The event was scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 4, featuring Bach’s St John Passion sung in English.

A spokesperson for the society said: “The performance of this magnificent work will be rescheduled to a later date.

“Meanwhile the date of the choir’s next concert will be announced once circumstances allow, and will in itself represent a celebration of the return to normal life after the ending of the unprecedented coronavirus restrictions.”
