The show will feature a stunning line-up of soul superstars including Dina Carroll (The Perfect Year, Don’t Be A Stranger), Russell Thompkins Jr (original Lead Singer of The Stylistics) and special guest Rose Royce (Car Wash, Love Don’t Live Here Anymore).

David met with press in Eastbourne where he told outrageous stories of his many friends and reminisced over his incredible career working with some of the greatest talents the world has ever seen, including best friend Michael Jackson.

Insights from the day included how at the height of Michael’s fame David would insist on him filling his car with petrol so the world’s most famous man could be seen as a petrol attendant, his verbal sparring with Whitney Houston who was like a sister to him and how Ray Charles came to his home and had fried chicken.

This was David’s first visit to Eastbourne and impressed with the town, he is looking forward to meeting its people and promises that those who see the show will come out saying “Wow, I cannot believe what I have just seen!” Not a tribute in sight, these acts are the real thing. In a show that usually only tours larger city venues this is a chance to hear all these great soul voices first hand while they are still out on the road. David will compere the evening with good friend Coronation Street’s Kym Marsh and the banter is assured to add to this unforgettable Saturday night out.

VIP tickets are available including a meet and greet package with all the stars for autographs and photos prior to the show. Further information and tickets priced from £32 from wwww.eastbournetheatres.co.uk or call box office on 01323 412000.
