Choir will fundraise for a local pet charity
The South Downs Singers are a local community choir based at Polegate which twice a year performs for local and national charities.
The next concert is on May 14, at 7.30pm at St John’s Church Polegate, and the charity they are performing for is The Cinnamon Trust, which is a charity that helps to keep elderly people or those that are terminally ill to maintain contact with their beloved animals for as long as possible, by fostering them, or walking them, and helping in general. Also in the sad event of the owners death Cinnamon Trust will re-home the pet.
For this concert they are delighted to be joined by singers from Bede’s Senior school to perform a varied and exciting programme of music from the movies led by Musical Director, Louise Morris. Tickets for this concert are £8 and available by calling 01323 832767 or at the door on the night.
