Beauty And the Beast Jr at halfterm

Tickets are flying out of the door for the Royal Hippodrome Theatre's production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast JR - so much so that the producers have added an extra performance.

Produced by the team who staged the RHT’s previous Disney’s Little Mermaid and Aladdin productions, the theatre’s in-house community company now presents the delights of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR for halfterm in February.

The brainy and beautiful Belle yearns to escape her provincial life and her brute of a suitor, Gaston. However, Belle gets more adventurous than she hoped for when she becomes a captive in the Beast’s enchanted castle.

Dancing flatware, menacing wolves, and singing furniture fill the stage with thrills and enchantment in this beloved fairy tale about very different people finding strength in one another and learning how to love.

The show runs from Wednesday February 17 to Saturday February 20 daily at 3pm, and there is now an additional performance at 7pm on Saturday February 20.

Tickets cost £12 for adults, £8 for children under 16 and a family ticket offers exceptional value at just £35.
