Sprinter Bethany Woodward followed up her relay bronze medal by qualifying for the women’s 200m T37 class final at the Olympic Stadium.
The 19-year-old Eastbourne Paralympian will join fellow Brit Jenny McLoughlin in the 200m showdown after both achieved automatic qualification from the heats.
Woodward was quick out of the blocks and took the lead after the bend but Johanna Benson of Namibia, looked strong at the finish and qualified first with a time of 29.39s.
Woodward was second in 29.50s and McLoughlin finished third in a time of 29.73s.
Both were part of last night’s relay team that clinched a bronze medal for Great Britain.
The 200m final will be at 9pm tonight (Wednesday)
