Former Eastbourne Rugby Club player Tom Pashley has been awarded the higest honour in college rugby after being selected to play for England Colleges.
Tom has been a member at the club from a young age and played for Sussex on a regular basis. The call-up means he will now face the likes of Leicester Tigers, Worcester Warriors and Irish Exiles to name a few.
Club Chairman Fraser Brooks said, “This is an incredible achievement for Tom but in truth it comes as no surprise to me as he is a very gifted rugby players and has all the skills and mental attributes to go even further.”
The Blue and Golds hope to return to action this weekend after last Saturday’s clash with Rye was postponed. They are due to host Lewes II at Park Avenue, with the match getting underway at 15:00.
