Eastbourne-based professional tennis star Johanna Konta finished off her season ranked as the British number two.
Konta,22, who was born in Sydney, Australia but now resides in Eastbourne, enjoyed her best season to date.
The righthander, who also represented Britain in the Davis Cup this year, had her most successful spell of the season in the summer during her time in Canada.
Konta triumphed at an International Tennis Federation event in Winnipeg in July.
She then went on to win the Oldum Brown Vancouver Open to propel herself up the WTA rankings.
With the recent retirments of British players Anne Keothavong and Elana Baltacha, Konta finished as the second highest ranked player behind Laura Robson but ahead of Heather Watson. Konta is ranked number 114th in the world and plans to break into the top 100 next season.
