Delighted Team Manager Trevor Geer was quick to lavish praise on each and every one of his charges as the dust settled around Arlington.
“It was a fantastic display by all the lads,” Geer enthused. “King’s Lynn normally put up a good show here and I expected a tough meeting tonight but in the end it was all about our boys.
“ Simon (Gustafsson), Timo (Lahti) and Mikkel (Michelsen) came good at the end with a couple of superb paid wins.”
Geer admitted that the Stars wouldn’t have been helped by the late arrival at the meeting of Team Manager Rob Lyon but continued, “I think whoever we faced this evening would have had a tough time against Eastbourne. “Kim Nilsson bounced back to life after suffering an injury last week and looked really fast.
“Certainly it’s been a good night for us tonight, a great win and we’re very proud of all the lads,” he concluded.
