Defending champ Seppi sets up Roddick final showdown

Andreas Seppi is still on course to defend his title after reaching the AEGON International men’s singles final with a comfortable win over Ryan Harrison.

Harrison was attempting to join Andy Roddick in an all-American final but Seppi had other ideas – taking the first set 7-5 and the second 6-1.

Harrison had capitalised on every break point he faced, which was one in each set, but failed to hold his own on two occasions in the first and three in the second to bow out of the competition.

Seppi will now step onto centre court tomorrow against powerhouse Roddick to try and retain the crown he won last year with victory over Janko Tipsarevic.
