Bennett family to feature at top-ranking table tennis tournament in Crawley

Sport fans will have the chance to see some of the best table tennis players in the country in action this Sunday at K2 in Crawley.

Sussex No.1 and England No.13 Craig Bryant, from Crawley, will be pitting his wits against players such as Scotland No.1 Gavin Rungay and England ranked 6 and 7 Chris Doran and Matt Ware at the Tees Sport Sussex 2 Star Open.

Nigerian Kazeem Adeleke and Sussex’s England junior star Helshan Weerasinghe will be among the 110 players contesting the event playing on 24 tables.

Eastbourne mother and sons trio Teresa, Jack, 15, and Josh Bennett, 12, are also among the competitors.

Play starts at 9am with the men’s singles final scheduled for 3pm.
