Eastbourne United AFC believe they have assembled a ‘great strike force’ for this season after the signing of Wes Tate from Peacehaven and Telscombe.
Tate became the second player of the week to sign from Peacehaven, following Ryan McBride’s arrival to The Oval.
United boss Simon Rowland said, “Wes is not just a great player but a good lad and will add to what is already a great changing atmosphere. He has good experience and with such a young side this is essential.
“Wes showed his class midweek against Hastings with his awareness and touch and is a player that will create and score a lot of goals this season.
“With Casey Ham and Ryan McBride we have a great strike force for the coming season”
“Both Scott (Price) and myself are really pleased with the squad we are putting together.
“It’s been really encouraging that we have inherited such a strong youth set up here, with players already coming through in the likes of Patryk Miszkiewcz, Jordan Dickinson, Louis Walder and of course Luke Snashall.
“We are looking to continue to give youth team lads the opportunity to gain first team experience throughout the season and are all looking forward to the 2013-14 season.”
