Kenny McCreadie has left his post as manager at Langney Wanderers after two seasons in charge.
Despite leading Langney to promotion from Sussex Division Three after a third-placed finish, McCreadie will join Ryman South outfit East Grinstead as assistant manager to work alongside manager Tony Beckingham.
“They phoned me a couple of weeks ago and I had to have a think about it,” McCreadie said. “It was a big wrench but you don’t get many chances to work at a Ryman League club.
“I’m leaving a good club that is on the up. I have loved it there. I love the people, Tracey and Steve Saunders (secretary and chairman) are unbelievable people.”
