Kenny McCreadie described Hailsham Town’s postponed fixture at Sidley United on Wednesday as ‘a waste of everyone’s time and money.’
McCreadie rallied his troops on a soggy evening and headed to Sidley hoping to follow-up on their 4-0 Boxing Day win against Uckfield.
McCreadie had players travel down from as far as East Grinstead and Croydon for the County League One clash but they were left frustrated by a late decision to postpone the match.
“I was furious,” explained McCreadie. “The decision should have been made long before and communication should have been better.
“To make the call an hour before kick-off was a joke and not what you expect from senior football. We are all out of pocket because of it.”
The Stringers hope to be back in action tomorrow at Lingfield.
