Eastbourne United AFC’s Friday-night fixture is their third of the season, and they are hoping for another good result following their previous thrashings over top-side Newhaven and third-placed Little Common.
Paul Daubeney was vocal in his support of these night matches, and pointed to the increased number of supporters as a reason for the success.
“We seem to turn on the style on Friday nights.
“They draw in the big local crowds and the players really respond well to that.
“When you have teams like Eastbourne Borough and Town playing, we can get overlooked so this gives people a good chance to see someone else play for once,” he said.
It also gives people a chance to see the big ground improvements which have taken place at the Oval in the recent times.
The match kicks-off at 7:45pm, with an opportunity to enjoy the Free Pool Friday event at the match.
United are also hosting a Poker Tournament on Saturday with a top prize of £500.
