Hailsham Town travel to Loxwood this weekend, as they fully intend to build on their 6-0 victory over Rustington.
Hailsham Town are full of confidence at the moment, and despite facing a long trip to Loxwood, they’ll be hoping to continue their fine form.
Manager Kenny McCreadie is very pleased with the teams current form and reiterated how confident the team are feeling.
“There’s a confidence about the place. We’re playing well at the moment, we’ve scored seven goals in two games and kept two clean sheets as well. I can’t ask any more.”
The 5-0 victory over Loxwood earlier in the season will also inspire the Stringers to try and grab another three points from the struggling Division two side.
Ryan Alexander is expected to return to the starting eleven, after he returned to the club last week. Fellow signing Ben Billings however, may be unavailable. Billings impressed against Rustington with a goal and an assist to his name but McCreadie knows they’ll be able to cope without him this week.
“It’ll give someone else a chance. We’ll have Ryan (Alexander) in this week so he’ll be expected to start. We’ll have to see who will be available but Steve Early will be out of action.”
A win for Town will also be very important considering their current league standing. They currently sit six points off leaders East Preston with two games in hand and McCreadie admits he will be keeping a close eye on Preston’s result.
“I’ve said before, we’ve got goals and clean sheets in this team and we will win games. We’re definitely not short of confidence at the moment.”
