Eastbourne Borough earned a point from a hard fought clash with Sutton United at Priory Lane on Saturday afternoon.
Tom Balarinwa fired Sutton into a 1-0 lead but Nat Pinney ensured Borough claimed a point with a cooly taken equaliser on 58 minutes.
The result places Tommy Widdrington’s side 14th in the table on 19 points from 14 matches.
Borough are seven points adrift of the play-off places as fifth place Maidenhead have 26 points from 14 games following today’s 4-3 victory against Basingstoke.
Ebbsfleet continue to lead the way at the top despite their 3-2 home defeat against Wealdstone.
Borough are next in action at Hemel Hempstead Town on Saturday, November 7.
