Striker Jamie Taylor scored his third goal in two games to secure a point for Eastbourne Borough at Concord Rangers.

Since returning on loan from Sutton United, the striker scored twice against Weston-Super-Mare in his first game and continued in the same vain with the equaliser as Borough came from behind in tough conditions in Canvey Island.

With fog descending on the pitch, the game looked in the balance at one point but the referee insisted that they carry on and Borough found themselves on the back foot for large parts of large parts of the contest and fell behind through a Kiernan Hughes-Mason header, his first goal for the club.

They stepped it up a gear after that and it was no surprise when Taylor finished from close range to restore parity and they finished the game the stronger side.

Substitute Darren lok had a strong looking penalty appeal waved away and Borough travelled home with a share of the spoils.
