Eastbourne Borough travel to Bognor Regis tonight and will fight for a place in the semi-final of the Sussex Senior Cup.
Bognor Regis are 10th the Ryman Premier division and are searching for their first victory in five matches. On Saturday they lost 2-0 at Bury Town.
They claimed their last victory in the previous round of the Sussex Senior when they narrowly beat County League division two side Eastbourne United 4-3.
For Borough this competition it represents a good chance to claim some silverware in Tommy Widdrington’s first full season in charge.
In the previous round they dominated Hassocks at Priory Lane and claimed a 2-0 win to set-up the quarter final clash in Bognor.
Eastbourne Town are also in action tonight. Danny Bloor’s Ryman League division one south side are in league action at lowly Horsham. Town, who are 10th in the league, will hope to follow-up on Saturday’s excellent 2-0 victory against highfliers Dulwich Hamlet.
Evan Archibald claimed both goals for Eastbourne Town with two first half headers.
In the County League, Eastbourne United, who were hammered 4-0 at Steyning on Saturday travel to Bexhill in County League division two while Kenny McCreadie’s Hailsham Town take on Peacehaven and Telscombe on Wednesday.
