Eastbourne United have made a triple swoop as Tobi Hutchinson looks to strengthen his team before the new season.
Versatile and experienced striker Jamie Salvage and the returning Jack Divall join from Hailsham Town, whilst United also welcome goalkeeper Phil Hawkins who was Rusthall FC player of the year last season.
Divall, who made 70 appearances and scored 27 goals during his first spell with United, returns after spending the past two seasons away from the club.
Boss, Hutchinson said, “I’m absolutely delighted to secure Jack’s signature. He was part of the side that reached the FA Vase semi final here a couple of years back and I’ve been a huge fan of his over the last few seasons.
“He was a player I targeted this summer as someone who can really add quality to the side. “Hutchinson also announced on Twitter the re-signing of club captain Adam Davidson who will remain wearing the armband, players’ player of year Peter Featherstone and the experienced Peter Cooper.
Adam Sargent has also joined the managerial staff as goalkeeping coach. United’s first pre-season game is on Saturday July 16 at home to Steyning before they travel away to East Preston.
