Bloor: Walton will not be a Casual affair

Eastbourne Town manager Danny Bloor is happy with the way his team are performing despite losing at home to Ramsgate last weekend.

Town travel to Walton Casuals this weekend who sit second from bottom in the league table. But Bloor insisted the Casuals shouldn’t be taken for granted.

“I’ve been to watch them twice and they are good side. Their league position doesn’t reflect their performances this season and I have no doubt they will push up the league.

“I don’t think we deserved to lose last weekend. If we had scored the penalty in the first-half it would have been a different game,” he said.

Town’s County Cup game away to Loxwood fell foul to the weather for the second time this week.

The game will now be played at the Saffrons on Wednesday, February 20. The match away to Herne Bay originally scheduled to played on that date has now been moved to Wednesday, April 10.
