ARGENTINE midfielder Agustin Battipiedi has left Eastbourne Borough without making a single first team appearance.

The former Brighton & Hove Albion player linked up with Gary Wilson’s men earlier this month after a failed trial at League One outfit Leyton Orient.

He was on the bench for the team’s FA Cup tie at Waltham Forest eight days ago but failed to turn up to training this week – with Wilson later finding out Battipiedi had decided instead to try his luck at Dover.

The 22-year-old will link up with another former Albion player. Nicky Forster recently landed the manager’s job at the big-spending Kent club.
