To mark Eastbourne Town’s 130 years as a football club, they will be holding an evening of celebration at the Cumberland Hotel on Saturday, October 8 2011.
There is an open invitation to all ex-senior players, officials and loyal supporters of the club and various honoured guests. There will be no admission fee but a small donation to a local charity will be welcome. There are various items of memobelia including books, photos, press cuttings and a brief history of the club on display. A buffet will also be supplied.
Contact Chris Backhurst at Eastbourne Town FC for more details.
Eastbourne Town Football Club raised more than £230 from a bucket collection for the You Raise Me Up Charity at their recent home game against Hythe Town.
The collection was in aid of James Coyle who died recently after being struck by a bus on the A259 near East Dean earlier this month.
