First service... of the year! Tennis players are back on court
Blue skies and unseasonably warm temperatures greeted the Hailsham Tennis Club members as they came out in force for the first club day following lockdown.
From today, tennis courts and other outside sports facilities were able to open again, and the Hailsham players made hay while the sun shone.
Being a non-contact sport, tennis is ideal for social distancing, as players of all levels came out to play. Some will have sore limbs as they exercised for the first time in a while, but, like riding a bicycle, the shots all came back and everybody had fun.
New subscriptions start from April, and the club is running a repeat of last year's half price offer for new and returning members. Google "Hailsham Tennis Club to find out more.
