Renegades knew that the Horsham top order would attack from the outset but excellent opening spells from Myall and Katie Eagle made sure the Lionesses roar was blunted inside the first 6 overs as they limped to 25-2. Tilda Collins then produced a superb spell of 4 overs 3 for 14 as she blew away the middle order and Horsham never recovered and once Maddie Smith accounted for danger woman Izi Noakes. Arwyn James chipped in with an important wicket. The spinners Tilly Dow and Sara Sidiq were able to control the final few overs as the Renegades won at a canter and lifted the trophy in front of delighted parents and supporters

The Renegades are a very young fledgling ladies team, the eldest 20 years old and the youngest 14 in their first year as an 11-a-side squad.
