Brett flew out the traps to start unloading well picked power shots to head and body.

Ikoshi rallied well to tuck up and throw counters of his own, but Brett was too accurate and unrelenting as the hooks and uppercuts rained in.

Two standing counts were to follow in the second and third rounds as Brett took the decision unanimously.

Eastbourne Boxing Club would like to make a deserved mention for Ikoshi who showed bags of heart and courage - a credit to the sport.

Both Boxers won the prestigious bout of the night award.

The on-rushing Carter managed to sustain her attacks to push Huma back to take a split decision win.

Wheeler made some excellent adjustments boxing well with sharp counters to make it a second win.

Matt Wood was pitted against Wes Shuwai, also for Poole ABC.

In a frenetic encounter, the low hands and fast head movement from Shuwai proved to be awkward for Wood but as the bout progressed, Wood was able to score well with the rear hand.

Come the decision Wood had his hand raised for Eastbourne in a split decision.

Younger brother of Huma, Sahab Caglayan turned the screw on Crawley's Dylan Heneghan in punch-picking straight punching affair from the home boxer.

In their second bout, Heneghan came to settle the score, but it was the quick rear hands from Sahab that told to take the unanimous decision.

Joe Willett boxed Hastings Westhill's Jenson Kent for the second time in a month.

Joe started well, using his rear and hand left hook combination to score against the tall Hastings southpaw.

The Phoenix man stepped up a gear in the second throwing fast combinations to push Spalding back but it was the elusive movement and range control of the Eastbourne Boxing Club man who took the unanimous decision.

Super heavyweight Glenn Derrington took on Moulescoomb's Brad King at 110kg's.

Both started tentatively but it was the visiting King who proved more eye catching with his on rushing attacks to record the unanimous points decision.
