A horse drawn carriage took former World Champion boxer Alan Minter through Crawley High Street, stopping at the White Hart pub.

Hundreds of people turned out to see the cortège. There was around five minutes of applause before one attendee shouted: Three cheers for the champion," and everyone ion attendance obliged.

British boxing legend and former world champion Alan Minter has died at the age of 69 after suffering from cancer.

Minter died aged 69 after suffering from cancer. He won a bronze medal at the 1972 Olympics in Munich and claimed the undisputed world middleweight title against Italian Vito Antuofermo in Las Vegas in 1980.
