If you want to become an expert in cooking pizza at home, there’s never been a better time to start experimenting.

Aldi’s popular barbecue pizza oven is making its return to stores, and will be on sale for £40. Here’s why it’s so popular.

What is the Aldi pizza oven?

The barbecue-style oven allows you to cook your own pizza on your patio or in your garden, using either gas or charcoal fuel.

The oven comes with a ceramic pizza stone, two carry handles, a built in temperature gauge, and an easy-to-clean stainless steel interior, with room for up to 12 inch pizzas, which take just 10 minutes to cook.

The oven is designed for outdoor use only. A warning on the supermarket’s website notes, “Risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. Barbecues must not be used indoors or in confined spaces.”

These pizza ovens go on sale on Thursday 2 April, but are available to pre-order on the Aldi website now.
