Christmas may still be three months away, but retailers are preparing early. And Amazon has already predicted its top 10 most asked-for children’s toys this year – including a Unicorn that poos glitter.

Harry Potter Lego, Barbie and laser guns are also tipped to be among the must-have playthings from the online retailer this Christmas, with prices ranging between £40 and £84.99.

Here are Amazon’s predictions for what every child will want this festive season.

1. Little Live Pets Wrapples Toy, £16.99

This fluffy wearable pet talks, sings and moves and can be taken everywhere you go by snapping the band around your wrist.

It also features more than 50 interactive sounds and light-up eyes which “match mood changes”.

2. Chow Crown, £21.99

This food-based family board game requires players to don a crown decorated with dangling forks, each loaded with food of your choice, before the headpiece spins around and plays music as you painstakingly try to munch the treats in front of you.

Players aren’t allowed to use their hands and are challenging with eating all the food before the music stops. The game sadly doesn’t come with food provided.

3. Strictly Come Dancing Board Game, £28.95

This family board game aims to bring a bit of Strictly magic into your home, with players asked to complete trivia questions, win challenges and perform mini-dance offs to score votes.

The voice of TV judge Craig Revel Horwood will score your performance after your competitors vote, making it a tricky task to claim the coveted glitter ball trophy.
