WITH regard to the Decoy Pond in Hampden Park I agree it does look a lot tidier but why was one of the streams leading from the pond and under the bridge blocked off?
The stream is now completely overgrown, has dried up and is non-existent. It’s quite an eyesore. I appreciate the water has to be kept at a certain level, but in the event of a heavy rainfall twice as much water rushes into one stream instead of flowing gently into two. Perhaps something could be done about this? GILLIAN HORTON
