On page 12 of your issue dated March 1st you state “New windfarm plans accepted”. By whom may I ask?
This proposal has not been accepted by any authority that has the right to make a decision. It was comprehensibly rejected by the residents of Polegate when a public planning meeting was held in St John’s Church Hall on November 1.
The resubmission may have reduced the number turbines on which the application was based and marginally reduced their height.
The application is on line for all to see. Unfortunately it uses old Ordnance Survey maps and omits to mention that the nearest turbine will be only 380 metres from the nearest of the new houses being built.
Apart from the small turbine at Glynde there are none of these yet on the Sussex landscape. Why start now and ruin the views from our new National Park. Stick them out at sea where the are generally out of view.
