I write in dismay of the lack of poppies being offered for sale in the town.

I have contacted the Royal British Legion regarding this and their response was, “Some of the local branches don’t take the boxes of poppies out this year. We deliver to shops and outlets who request them.”

If this is so, what is happening in Eastbourne?
