Thanks from a grateful charity

ON BEHALF of Arthritis Care, Eastbourne, I am writing to thank Waitrose for giving us the opportunity to raise money in their monthly charity collections.

We were overwhelmed by the support we received and extend our warm thanks to Waitrose customers who gave so generously to help support Arthritis Care.

The Eastbourne branch of Arthritis Care is celebrating its 53rd year and proud one of the oldest branches in the UK.

Our aim is to help support people with arthritis in a variety of ways. Firstly, we supply information regarding the many forms of this disabling condition through leaflets, contacts and a personal support line.

We also hold a meeting for our members on the third Tuesday of every month at the Eastbourne Blind Centre. Money raised for our charity enables us to provide transport those members who are disabled and present an interesting, worthwhile and entertaining programme of events throughout the year.

To conclude, once again a huge thank you to everyone involved for their help in raising money for our charity. Particular thanks go to Tracey Roberts, Waitrose, who has been so helpful. Lastly, thank you to Waitrose for their support to many different charities each month.

If anyone is interested in finding out more about Arthritis Care, then please do not hesitate in contacting Ruth on 483420.
