CHRISSY Freeman’s letter in the Seaford Gazette of July 20 sums up Seaford’s problems exactly.
We really must do something to limit the power that Lewes Council has over us.
For years they have been stripping us of all our assets and I’ve never seen any evidence that any of the money they have made has found its way to Seaford - not even from the sale of the playing field which was left to the town by the late Miss Pitt - surely that was illegal?
Rather than pulling down the recently refurbished library and rebuilding it to include flats (at vast expense), what we need are improved medical facilities and a good community centre to benefit our residents of all ages.
As Chrissy says: ‘Any ideas?’
