I HAD a bad experience this week. I went to see The Big Ballet at the Congress Theatre.
I knew that the Big Ballet featured very large ladies, of course, but I assumed they would be ballet dancers.
They were not. They were not even dancers.
They plodded around the stage waving their arms about. And for that I paid £20.
Until the interval, when I and many others escaped, I passed the time thinking what I might have done with the money - bought a good book, a bottle of Scotch, given it to charity...
I sincerely hope the ladies of The Big Ballet will waddle back to Siberia and stay there.
