Is it just me who is angered by the amount of litter blighting main roads in and around Eastbourne?
Clearly we have our fair share of idiots who throw rubbish out of their cars.
Specifically I refer to the state of sections of Lottbridge Drove, Golden Jubilee Way, the Polegate-by-Pass and the A27 towards Lewes.
Driving through corridors of litter on grass verges and strewn in hedgerows feels unpleasant.
It can hardly be attractive to tourists, especially Europeans used to cleaner streets, whilst tax payers should rightfully query why they are not getting a service of litter picking for the council tax they are paying.
Finally the state of Golden Jubilee Way is arguably an insult to the name of our Queen. I have reported the problem on the East Sussex County Council’s online fault reporting scheme and await the highway’s agency response.
