We would like to thank Zoe and Aid for organising fundraising which resulted in more than £2,000 being donated to the Save the DGH Campaign. We really appreciate Stephen Lloyd , our previous MP, suggesting people support our cause. The generosity of people never ceases to amaze us and we would like to thank everyone who contributed to this donation.
We would also like to thank Lorraine and Mick Young who held a ‘Tea Party’ on July 9 at East Dean Village Hall, and recently gave us the proceeds amounting to £55. Again we are so grateful to all those who supported this event.
These donations will be used to help continue our aim to bring back and keep all essential core services at our local hospital. With the recent departure of the Chief Executive, Darren Grayson, from the Trust we are hoping others who have not apologised and still do not accept they have failed the local population will follow suit and leave so we can get the right leadership team at East Sussex NHS Healthcare Trust we need to bring about our aim.
